You will find various hotels and other accommodation in and around Vagen. The film location in Vagen itself and other locations are within easy reach.
The studios in Munich are also just a 45-minute drive away.

We have one special request: Please do NOT ask for accommodation in the manor house (Schloss) in Vagen.
The manor house is private property and the owners live there. Access to the premises is strictly forbidden.
After all, you wouldn't like anyone to ring at your door and ask for a bed for the night, would you?

Vi preghiamo di rispettare che il pernottamento nel castello di Vagen non è possibile..
Il castelloè di proprietà privata. L’accesso al castello non è consentito.
Cosa direste voi se delle persone sconosciute bussassero alla vostra porta chiedendo sistemazione :).

Tempesta d'amore a Vagen
Informazioni e collegamenti a tutti gli argomenti inerenti alla famosa soap opera 'Tempesta d'Amore', trasmessa sull'e mittente nazionale 'Das Erste'.
La telenovela è ambientata nei dintorni e nell'Hotel Fürstenhof'. Il castello di Vagen fa da sfondo alle scene esterne.
Le riprese delle diverse scene esterne sono state girate negli splendidi paesaggi alpini della zona compresa tra il Chiemgau, il Tegernsee e Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Di particolare bellezza è il paesino di Vagen nella valle del Mangfall che con la sua bellezza paesaggistica da libro parecchie volte è stato premiato come pi bel paese dell'Alta Baviera.
Il Fürstenhof è un fittizio albergo. In realtà si tratta di un castello privato, residenza di un'antica famiglia nobile bavarese.
E' vietata la visita al castello!.
L'accesso al castello è consentito esclusivamente ai proprietari ed allo staff del film. Durante le riprese gli uomini della security bloccano tutto il terreno.
Ovviamente il pernottamento nell'Hotel Fürstenhof', il castello di Vagen, non è possibile !
Il paesino di Vagen è una frazione di Feldkirchen-Westerham e non dispone di un ufficio del turismo.

Sturm der Liebe in Vagen
Here you will find information and links about the well-known telenovela "Sturm der Liebe", a production of the public broadcaster ARD.
The series is set in and around the "Hotel Fürstenhof". The manor house, or Schloß, in Vagen and its surroundings provide many of the film locations.
The producers have skillfully introduced beautiful landscape pictures between scene changes, many from regions all over Upper Bavaria such as Chiemgau, Tegernsee, Garmisch-Partenkirchen etc..
The scenery here in Vagen in the valley of the small river Mangfall is wonderful, but there is, of course, a big difference between film and reality.
Please note that the hotel is a hotel only in the TV series. In reality, the owners live in the private manor house.
Guided tours of the manor house are not possible!.
Only the owners and the film crew have access to the manor house and its surroundings. During filming, the property is sealed off by a security team.
This means that no overnight accommodation is available in the "Hotel Fürstenhof" (Schloß Vagen).
Vagen is situated in the valley of the river Mangfall, not far from Chiemsee and Tegernsee. It has won prizes as one of the most beautiful villages in the area and belongs to the community of Feldkirchen-Westerham. There is no tourist information office in Vagen.

Von dort aus haben Sie dann kurze Wege um den Drehort in Vagen oder andere Drehorte zu erreichen.
Auch die Studios in München sind dann maximal eine dreiviertel Stunde Fahrtzeit entfernt.
Im Zimmernachweis erhalten Sie ausreichend Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten in Vagen oer dem näheren Umkreis.
Eine Bitte: fragen Sie NICHT beim Schloß in Vagen nach einer Unterkunft.
Das Schloß ist in Privatbesitz, bewohnt und der Zutritt zum Gelände ist ausdrücklich untersagt.
Schließlich wollen Sie ja auch nicht, das jemand bei Ihnen zu Hause klingelt und Sie nach einer Übernachtungsmöglichkeit fragt :).
